Atlanta rap vs New York rap?
May 31st, 2010 Admin New York is wayyyy better than Atlanta. I mean Atl got shit on lock with the snap and sholder lean and laffy taffy and all that. But New York has been doin the thing for the longest time. Jigga, Biggie, Pun, Busta, Diddy. Now more recent artists like Kweli and Papoose. New York is off the chain. Not to mention that the actual city is off the chain as well. The city itself is fucking incredible. Atlanta aint got shit on New York as far as physical city is concerned. The skyline, the traffic, the way people talk. Its so fast pace and you need to keep up with the city or you’ll get left behind. But back to hop music. New York is king and the only other city that I could see being real competition for New York right now is Chicago and L.A. If these 3 cities were to unite it could be somthin special. By the way Lupe Fiasco made one of the best albums of all time this year. Pick that shit up that is some real shit.
